The Native Son is based at Hatteras Harbor Marina in Hatteras , N.C. on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. Here we have the shortest ride to the gulf stream on the East Coast other than Florida. We fish for Giant Bluefin Tuna Yellowfin Tuna , Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel and various other species. We do some jigging as well tunas and amberjack. Hatteras is filled with great restaurants, shops and lovely rental homes all within a couple of miles form the marina. Our beaches rank among the top five in the country on a yearly bases. We have all top of the line tackle ranging form Tld 20’s all the way to Penn 130’s on custom built rods. As for me I have 31 years of fishing experience. I started out mating when I was 13 years old. I’m telling my age now. My mate has 20 years of experience and does an excellent job . We are in the business of making people happy and helping them to have an enjoyable day. Remember that even if the fishing is a little slow on a particular day you can still enjoy all the things about it. Above all we will be upfront and honest with you about the weather and the fishing and will do our best to do you right.
