Reef Fishing

Fishing all year round offering Morning & afternoon charters.

Full Day charters available only for groups.

You catch them, we clean them, you keep them! We are equipped with Shimano rods & reels, Bait & tackle so you dont need to bring anything.

We have rod holders and seating for each angler. There will be a skipper & crew on board where the crew cuts bait, clean and bag your fish. The crews also assist with fishing technique & rig lines.

The following fish can be caught on our trip - Reef Fish Species - Snapper, Jewfish (Mulloway), Mahi Mahi (Dolphin fish), Kingfish, Australian Salmon, Trevally, Flathead, Blue Morwong (Deep Sea Bream), Tailor, Teraglin, Bream, Leather Jackets, Nannygai, John Dory. 

The Game Fishing Grounds we fish are - Browns Mountain (south) which rises 600ft from the ocean floor to within 1200ft of the surface and Norah Head Canyons (north) is a series of rugged deep trenches in the ocean floor. Vessels and crew are qualified to 30 N miles. The Continental Shelf is 23 N miles offshore!

We take a maximum of 6 people per boat.

We prefer Tag & Release of marlin.

Fish species during summer : Marlin - Blue, Black & Striped Sharks - Mako, Hammerheads, Striped Tuna (Skipjack Tuna), Mahi Mahi ( Dolphin Fish), Wahoo, Sailfish.

Fish species during winter: Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore Blue Marlin Sharks - Mako Striped Tuna Mackeral Tuna

Game Fishing Tournaments NSWGFA Interclub at Port Stephens in February & March annually. Contact us for information regarding charters for other competitions & locations (POA).

Price: $ 130 (AM -6 hrs), $100 (PM - 4hrs), $3000 for the boat (Game)

Departure Time: 6am (AM,Game), 1:30pm (PM)

Departure Point: Ettalong Ferry Wharf, Ferry Road, Ettalong

Return Time: 12:30pm (AM), 6pm (PM), 4pm (Game)

Inclusions: Rods & reels, Bait & tackle, Body harness and belt, lures of assorted size, colours and brands are supplied. Recreational Fishing Licence not required. We supply complimentary morning / afternoon tea and ice for drinks.
