John Winslet owned and run the Glenelg Fishing Charter that offers a fantastic and unforgettable fishing experience and trips to their customers.
Captain John Winslet has been spending over 30 years of his life fishing in the area and in the year 2000 he finally obtained his commercial qualifications and offers sound skill set to their customers while on board and unique knowledge of the waters around Adelaide and others places. John is expert in catching big snappers and huge South Aussie King George Whiting.
OPAL 4, a 9.3m vessel, is currently used by Glenelg Fishing Charter in carrying their customers on their respective tour trips. It is powered by 400hp Verados engines for a good fishing experience and less travelling time. OPAL 4 has a top speed of 37 knots and cruising speed of 26-28 knots.
The vessel is equipped with Electric Winch, Depth Sounder, GPS, Satellite Navigation, First Aid Equipment, Sea Phone, Safety Equipment, Toilets, and Two way radios, CD player, Gas Stove, Radio-Cassette Player, Manuals and Charts. It also has a private walk in for passengers and flushing toilets.
