We offer our clients the opportunity to fish some of the most prestigious waterways in the NT – the barramundi is an NT icon, let us help you catch yours!

Our Guides

Duane and our guides have many many years combined fishing experience in the Northern Territory, and have a passion for fishing and want to share their knowledge and experience with you! Each of our guides hold tickets from a Master 5 to Coxswain, all are fully licensed and accredited tour operators, with current first aid qualifications so you can rest assured that you are in the best hands possible. Our guides will be only too pleased to take photographs of your catch to remember this rewarding and unique opportunity to fish the waters of the Northern Territory.

Barramundi Fishing at Corroboree Billabong – May to November

We pick you up from your accommodation in Darwin at 5:00 am and travel straight to Corroboree Billabong to be out on the water at sunrise. You’ll spend the day out on the water targeting Barramundi and Saratoga, and we’ll have you safely back in town by approximately 4pm.

Corroboree Billabong is part of the Mary River System and is a very scenic area, so it is very common to see a huge variety of birds, wild pigs and buffalos, not to mention some of the biggest crocs in the territory!

You’ll enjoy scrumptious cold meat and salad luncheons served on board the boat. We also provide all light non-alcoholic refreshments and cold water during the day.

Blue Water and Reef Fishing at Dundee Beach (tide & weather dependant)

We pick you up from your accommodation at 5am and travel approximately 2 hours to Dundee Beach, spend the day out on the water  targeting a huge variety of reef fish and have you safely back into town by approximately 5pm. The fishing at the Perron Islands offer a huge variety of reef fish, many of which are top quality eating fish, including Red Emperor, Golden Snapper, Coral Trout, Saddletail Snapper, Grass Emperor, Black Spot Tuskfish, also available are Queenfish,  Trevally, Spanish Mackeral and Long Tail Tuna.

Finiss River at Dundee Beach (tide & weather dependant)

We pick you up at 5am and travel approximately 2 hours to Dundee Beach where we target salt water Barramundi, Threadfin Salmon and Black Jewfish, and have you back into town by approximately 5pm. Saltwater Barramundi is arguably the best fighting fish, and of course the best eating fish, of the Barramundi species, and we are happy to bring your catch home with you!

Darwin Harbour, Adelaide River, Leaders Creek and secret local big barra spots! (tide & weather dependant)

During the later months of the year we fish the above locations, as well as Darwin Harbour, the Adelaide River, Leaders Creek and secret local big barra spots. September to the end of November is known as the ‘Build Up’ and is a great time to catch big saltwater Barramundi! Availability and pick up time is tide dependant, you’ll enjoy a full day out on the water targeting saltwater Barramundi, don’t forget we are happy to bring your catch home with you!

The Equipment & Boats

You will fish using our Shimano rods with Shimano reels and braid lines. We cater for amateur fishermen as well as top level experienced anglers. Once Government controlled bag-limits are neared we encourage the use of catch-and-release techniques on our tours. Our boats are 6.51m Oceanmaster surveyed vessels; they are custom built and very stable, with the softest and smoothest ride in aluminium. All boats carry satellite phones for your safety and have full canopies to keep you sheltered from the hot sun. We use environmentally friendly Suzuki 250hp 4-stroke outboard motors.

We have a minimum number of two people per charter and a maximum of four people per boat, but can also accommodate larger groups as we have more than one boat in operation.

What to bring: We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Darwin & surrounds, and drop you back after your day out fishing. All you need to bring is suncream, hats & your cameras! Keep in mind that we recommend long sleeved shirts & long pants to keep the UV away.

What is included: The charter is fully inclusive of transfers, snacks, lunches & soft drinks, as well as your tackle, boat and guide!
