In Search of Barra

This is a short clip from Episode 1 of OFFISHAL TV (In Search of Barra). In this episode I go heli-fishing in the Northern Territory, swim in the Cage of Death with a crocodile, fish for Saratoga and Barramundi, and see the sites of Darwin. This original underwater footage captures the Barramundi feeding in its natural environment. I took the footage with a Contour Roam HD camera, my camera of choice for all episodes of OFFISHAL TV. The camera was in the Contour underwater housing. The full version of OFFISHAL TV Episode 1 In (Search of Barra) will be released on YouTube on 25 September 2012. It contains more original footage taken with the Contour HD camera, including plenty of helicopter footage.

Here is a list of things that you should keep in order for you convenience.

Sleeping bag or linen, blanket & your own pillow (Bunks are fitted with a sheet and pillow.)

A rod or flick rod, jigs, lures (We supply rods, hooks and sinkers & bait)

Snorkeling gear
(We encourage spearfishing) -
Dive equipment & cert card! (Check with us first if it’s a fishing trip)

Esky to bring back your catch (No need for extra eskys on the boat)

What is included:

Air fills and spare tanks are available for scuba diving, you must byo you own kit
A 5.5m center consoles are moored at the islands for little adventures.

Over 12 years boating experince, half of which were spent as an excursions opperator for the cruise industry in Grand Turk, has helped shape Screaming Reels into a top class opperation that meets client expectations. A two time winner of the Grand Turk Game Fishing Tournament, (2007 & 2009), means you can feel confident in the hands of your Captain and crew. Our main fishing vessel is a 30 foot Hyrocat 300c powered by twin Honda bf 225 outboards. The backup boat is a 27 foot Polar 2700cc powered by twin Suzuki df 175 outboards.
